WWII Nurse and Collie Painting, 20x16 Stretched Canvas Wall Art
A mid-size piece for the wall.
A weary WWII nurse, red cross on her cap and tears on her cheek, is held in the arms of a mercy dog. This painting by 15-year-old neurodivergent artist Noelle Leeper shows the exhaustion and post-traumatic stress that wartime nurses carried long after the shift ended. It also shows the comfort of someone simply staying beside you.
Soft greys and weathered stone hold a moment of rest. This 20" x 16" size suits the space above a dresser, desk or sofa. It makes a meaningful gift for retirements, new jobs, nurses and counselors, and anyone on a healing journey.
